Charlette Bright

California Licensed Midwife (LM) 668

Certified Professional Midwife (CPM)

I’m a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and informed healthcare, bringing over 18 years of experience in the IT field and 10 years in EMS and maternal health. This unique background informs my approach to prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum care.

With a deep commitment to providing personalized, evidence-informed practices, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can make informed choices about their bodies and childbirth experiences.

My healthcare approach blends allopathic and holistic methods, tailored to meet each individual's unique cultural, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. I recognize that standard care models may not fit each family, and I aim to customize care for the best outcomes in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys.

Vintage
Midwifery

I am a passionate advocate for preserving the history of midwifery through vintage items. My collection includes old midwifery textbooks, equipment, and medicines, each telling a story of the profession's evolution. Through studying these artifacts, I gain insight into the roots of modern practices, inspiring me to integrate traditional techniques with contemporary methods. This blend of old and new enhances my care, fostering a deep connection with my clients. By honoring the past, I create a unique, impactful approach to midwifery, ensuring that the wisdom of previous generations continues to guide and shape my practice for the better.
